The cross country season consists of seven regular meets and one invitational. The meets are all a fairly easy drive except Willow Creek. Willow Creek has become a favorite race, so we left it on the schedule. The first meet will be in Trinidad on the 22nd of September. Winship, McKinleyville, CR and Fortuna fill out the rest of the regular schedule. There is an invitational for high school, middle school and elementary school runners held on Clam Beach. It is not part of our regular schedule but is a lot of fun. The final meet is the Humboldt County Championships held at the Arcata Community Center on Thursday, October 15. Top runners receive medals or ribbons and the top two teams in each division will receive plaques for their schools.
All schools and individuals are welcome to attend. There are no fees except at the Beach Run.
