The November race begins just east of the Adorni Center on the Waterfront Trail. Look for the light pole just past the dock on the right-hand side. The run follows the trail to the bench before Tydd Road, where there is a turnaround sign.
The race begins east (right) of the parking lot. Follow the trail just past the dock and look for the start marker on a light post.
This is the nearest bathroom. It is over 1/4 mile from the starting line. You must be a member to use the Adorni bathrooms. This bathroom is on the course so you can stop on the run. You will need to plan a bathroom stop before getting to the Adorni Center.
Just east of the parking lot is this dock. It provides nice views of the bay and harbor, but you are here to run, so stay focused. Just beyond the dock on the right you will see the starting line on a light pole.
Jan is pointing to the official starting marker. Hopefully, it will remain in place for the full month. You will find this immediately past the dock. It is also the finish line.
This is the opposite side of the starting line with the dock in the background. Notice the beautiful blue skies in the background. I hope your November day is as nice as this day was for us.
The Bay Trail goes across the launching ramp and continues on the other side. There are no markers, here, so note this before you leave.
Here is the bathroom again. The trail follows the bay shoreline to the left after crossing the launch ramp.
The trail goes four ways at this location. There is a marker here, but I can't count on it staying there. You will arrive at this intersection and make a left turn (note the white arrow). The trail continues along the bay.
After passing the back side of Target, you will see the highway 101 bridge. Follow the trail under the bridge.
The turnarond is just before Tydd Road. There are two benches on the left as you climb the path toward Tydd Road. You have to go to the second bench where there should be a marker on the right. Go back the same way to the finish. Someone is stealing my signs so I have added chalk. See the next pictures.
This is the approach to the 2nd bench as you climb the hill. Hopefully, there will be a turnaround sign, but that may not be possible.
This is looking downhill at the 2nd half of the run. The chalk is going to look pretty bad during the rains.
