The start and finish are next the map and poster. TK-2 run uses the dark red marker, the 3-5 races uses the blue marker and the 6-8 grade is the pinkmarker. Each age group follows their color throughout the run. Run towards the bridge over Powers Creek.
After crossing the bridge the three markers point to the right. All runners turn right.
The K-2 turnaround is at the creature on the Powers Creek Trail after turning right over the bridge. The red marker is next to its feet. Run straight back to the finish. The run is 1/2 mile.
The 3-5 runners pass the creature and turnaround at Taylor Way. They go back past the creature and past the bridge to Hatchery Road. The 6-8 runners cross the road to the next marker and trail.
The 3-5 runners turnaround at Hatchery Road and turn back toward the bridge.
The 6-8 runners cross the road (watch for cars and especially trucks. Follow the pick marker to the trail. There will be another marker at the Mad River levee. Run down the levee along the river.
The 6-8 graders follow the pink marker on the information sign. Take a left turn from the levee to Hatchery Road.
The final turn for both the 3-5 and the 6-8 runners take a right at the bridge and finish at the start/finish.
